About Us

Welcome to ST³ Offshore - a leading European manufacturer of steel foundations for offshore windfarms.

The company, located in Szczecin ( Poland), close to the Baltic Sea, runs a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically for the automated production of transition pieces as well as jackets, foundation components and monopile foundations for offshore wind farms.


With the highest in Europe’s gantry crane (120 meters height and 1’400 tons of lifting capacity) ST³ Offshore can carry out the final assembly and loading of structures of a maximum height of 90 meters. This can be done directly onto a barge, through the facility’s perfect island-location on the Odra river, which enables an easy access to the Baltic and North Sea.


With a modern equipment, unique welding technologies of nodes and jacket structures, highly qualified specialists and own engineering and design department, ST³ Offshore is definitely one of the most innovative steel structures’ suppliers in the offshore market. ST³ Offshore is a joint-venture of 2 companies: Europoles Renewables GmbH and Mars FIZ.

Europoles Renewables GmbH
Europoles Renewables GmbH, a subsidiary of Munich based VTC Group, is the majority shareholder of ST³ Offshore (62,5%).
VTC Group is a fast growing and independent industrial holding company with two of its companies strongly connected with the energy production sector.
VTC’s portfolio company Europoles is the leading European manufacturer of poles and towers made of steel, concrete and fibre reinforced plastics for a large variety of infrastructure applications. Europoles has 6 factories in central Europe, including two plants in Poland (Konin and Chrzanów). Global Castings, another group company of VTC, is a global supplier of casted components (i.e. hubs, main foundations, main shafts) to the onshore and offshore wind industry. It operates five plants worldwide (Germany, Denmark, Sweden and China).


MARS Closed-End Investment Fund
MARS Closed-End Investment Fund is a fund managed by MS TFI (MS Mutual Funds Society).
A key objective of the Fund is to increase the value of its assets through, amongst others, the implementation of restructuring and investment projects in portfolio companies. The Fund manages the portfolio of majority stakes in 15 private companies. They comprise companies from the shipbuilding sector as well as ship repair and offshore steel structure building, a manufacturer of power generating boilers, as well as real estate companies.
